The Wood Works Gallery and Cafe in Bungendore provides travellers with a great spot to break their journey when driving along the Kings Hwy between Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast and Canberra ACT. The Wood Works gallery and Cafe, are open every day except Christmas Day. 

The main gallery exhibits a wide variety of handcrafted woodwork ranging from affordable, functional home-wares to exceptional and exquisite artworks that offer perfection in form and design. Wood craft art exhibitions are a regular occurrence.

You may find display pieces crafted by members of the Eurobodalla Woodworkers Guild (The Woodies)  based in the grounds of The Original Gold Rush Colony. Children who have watched the wood-turner in action at the Original Gold Rush Colony will have a better appreciation of the beautiful pieces they can see when they visit the Wood Works Gallery in Bungendore.

The Cafe Wood Works situated in the original 1883 house, serves innovative cuisine and great coffee, either indoors or in one of the 2 charming outdoors settings. Have a coffee, snack or meal and then drift through the Gallery for a pleasant interlude and rest from the road. The cafe is independently owned and operated by Eric
