Can You See The See The Tiny Fairies

Nature - Fairy Tree

This ancient spotted gum tree would have been a sapling when gold was first discovered in the creeks of Mogo by Alexander Waddell (great great grandfather of Georgina Jackson, manager of the Original Gold Rush Colony). It towers over the rest of the Mogo State Forest, with its crown visible from many vantage points through the property. At over 160 years of age, the fairies have really looked after it.

Young visitors to the Colony manage the short bush track up into Boot Hill, from where the fairy home can be easily admired. It is loved and cared for by those who believe in fairies.
