Put-put-put chuf chuf splutter, choof choof, sounds accompanied by hammering and chatter mean that the shed is not a static display. The Moruya and District Antique Machinery and Tractor Association have found a home for their club in this purpose built shed.

The displays within are owned by individual club members who meet each Tuesday to work on their machines in a convivial, sometimes greasy, fashion.

On special club days and heritage re-enactment days, members bring working pieces into the grounds of the Original Gold Rush Colony, and set them running as a counterpoint to the heavy thumps of our own Crusher and gentle slapping of the waterwheel.

The Antique Machinery shed is also the train shed for Olga the Steam Train (static display).  Walk through the machinery shed and marvel at machines that so dramatically changed the way humans live, as part of the industrial revolution only one and a half centuries ago.

The Eurobodalla Woodworkers Guild (The Woodies) have also made the machinery shed home. Their section can be viewed when members are present.
