The Original Gold Rush Colony has plenty of room for accommodation guest parking, so if you have a boat or trailor our carpark can accommodate you with ease. The Easy Access Cabin has a shorter, horizontal ramp to its balconey than the one pictured.

Fully Equipped Camp Kitchen

The Original Gold Rush Colony has a fully equipped communal camp kitchen including fridges for your cold foods whilst preparing your meal.

Accommodation Guest Laundry

The laundry is clean and functional with 2 washing machines & 2 dryers (as well as a clothes line outside). Accommodation guests may use the laundry free of charge for holiday washing, ironing & folding.

Accommodation Facilities Bush Laundry

When staying in the Cabins & Bunkhouses at the Original Gold Rush Colony you have access to the guest laundry which is conveniently located just across from your accommodation. You can actually enjoy your holiday washing tasks in a wonderful Australian bush setting. Dry your washing in fresh forest air on the iconic Australian Hills Hoist, or use the dryer.

Gold Rush Colony Swimming Pool

The Original Gold Rush Colony Mogo has a solar heater swimming pool on site for guests, to take a leisurely swim on those hot summer days.

Camp Kitchen - The Great Aussie BBQ

Self Catering for up to a 100 in the great Aussie bush camp tradition, is a breeze under the cover of the camp kitchen. Two huge preparation tables. one on wheels, turn a chore into a happy time together. No-one needs to be left to go it alone, as tasks get delegated.  By prior arrangement staff of the Original Gold Rush Colony will cater for you.

Camp Kitchen Provides A Spacious Activity  Area

The huge camp kitchen area is multipurpose and easily accessed. It provides an outdoor setting protected from the sun or rain.  Set up with its wooden benches and tables it is ideal for an outdoor lesson or meeting.

Camp Kitchen Food Preparation Area

There is abundant space on the huge table for families, friends or fellow visitors to work side by side in the covered camp kitchen in the Original Gold Rush Colony on the South Coast just 155km from Canberra.  Food preparation becomes a light hearted time, as everyone chips in to help, and little children play in the surrounding area.

Camp Kitchen

The Covered Camp Kitchen in the Original Gold Rush Colony at Mogo NSW is a great area for family school or club re-unions on a budget.  The kitchen area has a gas bbq, fridges, preparation areas, and cupboards with catering essentials. The unique aboriginal art gracing the upright poles were painted by Rod Slockee during his tailored Indigenous Aboriginal Culture educational sessions.

The Garden Path

Concrete paths run between the rear of the cabins to the ramp accesses, and down to the covered camp kitchen.
