The Gold Rush Colony has a variety of on-site activities along with interesting local Artisans providing scheduled or on demand demonstrations and products.
Maze Eureka Stockade Mural

Mogo Maze is located within the 16 acre property of the Original Gold Rush Colony in Mogo on the NSW South Coast.

Open for the public daily the maze provides fun for all ages.

School excursions and school camp groups may customise the experience for students when adding this activity to their schools' package.

35) Steam Boiler

The retired steam boiler from Perry's Mill is now the last hole for the Gold Rush Mini Golf. Adults and children alike find this an interesting challenge.

Activity - Ore Crusher Demonstration

Tour Guides provide detailed information during the demonstration of quartz crushing at the rock crusher. This is one of only a few working ten head stampers.

Artisans - The Woodies Of Eurobodalla

Over and above their regular working  meetings at the Original Gold Rush Colony, the Woodies have special days such as their Grand Opening showing off their workshed to Local Member Andrew Constance.  They assisted the Colony by building the station for Olga the replica steam train.

Artisans - Mike Whitney Is Wanted In Mogo

The Original Gold Rush Colony is delighted to have been featured on Sydney Weekender, with host and Australian Cricketer Mike Whitney. Mike graciously agreed to be photographed by Elizabeth for our great collection of Wanted Posters,and chose what he would be wanted for. It is obvious from the currency used that it is a fun item.
