Position / Role:
Tour Guide School Activities - Headmaster

Ross's knowledge of British, Australian & Local History and Australian Literature is particularly appropriate to his work with visiting school groups.

Ross designed the educational module for the 1850s classroom experience in which he acts as a formal and stern schoolmaster, encouraging respect from the students - even normally noisy children.

Students respond well to this retired teacher and his acting and teaching skills provide an informative and interactive element to the South Coast NSW Gold Rush Colony school excursion and school camp experience.

Ross has also elected to be on staff as a tour guide once a week, where his laconic humour combines with the 1850's scene to provide a droll version of the Gold Rush Tour

He provides a rich contrast to Rob Wombey in his master's gown
