Extended Australiana And Koori Activities Overnight School Camp

The Gold Rush Colony Mogo is very proud of its product and flexablity. Call the School Co ordinator and they will be more then happy to tailor your school excursion to suit your needs. Option three offers a range of Australiana and Koori activities for schools that have the time to stay longer on day two to get the full Gold history experience.

Packages do not include coach travel, or morning or afternoon recess.

Extra meals and recess can be quoted.

Students will need to bring own sleeping bag, pillow, towel and toiletries.

  • 10am  Arrival at the Gold Rush Colony
  • 10.30am  Gold History Tour
  • 12.30pm  Lunch (students provide own)
  • 1.30pm  Life on the Goldfields
  • 3.30pm  Free time
  • 4pm  Bush Dance prep
  • 5pm  Free time
  • 6pm  Dinner
  • 7pm  Traditional bush dance
  • 9pm  Free time and bed

                  Day 2

  • 8am  Breakfast
  • 9am  Traditional Games
  • 10am  Koori Art (dot or banner)
  • 11am  Koori Cultural Stories
  • 12pm  Lunch
  • 1pm  Depart the Gold Rush Colony

* En suite Bunkhouse accommodation for students (students must provide own linen)
* Twin Share bedrooms in deluxe Miners cabins for teachers (will accommodate solo when possible)
* Driver has own room
* 3 meals in the Diggers Rest tavern
* All activities shown on itinerary
