Bush Dance Preparation

Working Together To Decorate The Hall For Evening Festivities

The Gold Rush Colony Mogo offers students a taste of working together to prepare for a community get together.

In early period life the community would come from far and wide to decorate the hall and would have been looking forward to this event for months to catch up with relatives, friends and meet new people.

Students will learn the importance of working together as a team to decorate the hall for the traditional bush dance.

This is a confidence building team exercise that will give students a sense of ownership of the planned evening event adding to the fun!

This activity takes approximately 1 hour.
