Traditional games are games that the Aboriginal children played in groups, long before modern toys or sports equipment where introduced. The Aboriginal people used natural resources such as possum skins, grass fibres and hardened bark for their sports equipment.

These games were an important teaching tool for all Aboriginal children as it showed them hunting skills, responsibility and survival skills.
