The Gold Rush Colony's unique accommodation is the closest to the world famous Mogo Zoo (2km away). On quiet nights when the wind blows west, you may be able to hear the white lions roaring.

You can cook your great Aussie Bush Breakfast either in your self contained cabin, or in the covered Camp Kitchen surrounded by the sounds of the Mogo State Forest.

Your children will love the unlimited access to the Gold Panning, especially when they master the skill as taught on the Gold Rush Colony Tour. On site activities include rides on Olga the Tourist Steam Train and Gold Rush Rustic Mini Golf.
