Simon Wheatley, President of Mogo Magic Football Club, called in to The Original Gold Rush Colony, to tell us the news. The Southern Show Down is the opening match of the season, against local rivals Batemans Bay Seahawks.

There will be two games on April 1st, as the Mogo Magic Club has grown to support 2 teams, under 12s and under 14s. starting at 10am.

The game is to be held on the Mogo Football field Buckenboura Rd Mogo. Turn off the Princes Highway 100m south of the Mogo Public School. 100s of spectators are hoped for. This time the Gold Rush Express Mini Bus will not be needed to transport the team.

There is a real picnic family atmosphere surrounding the home games. Food and drink will be available, with some prizes and give-aways.
