Improve Teacher Knowledge and Practice in Running Excursions and Camps which meet school and System Priorities.

The first course qualifies Teachers for 5 hours profeesional Development. (Accredited by BOSTES)

We now are proud to offer our course for professional engagement standards 6.2.2 and 6.3.2

 Over the years, we have come to realise the huge load teachers carry, including the organising and attending of school camps and excursions. During the summer break, we put together a program to assist you.

We have taken into account:

Policy Overviews for learning experiences external to the school site.

Our Course:

6.2.2 - Participate in learning and update knowledge and practice targeted to professional needs and or system priorities:

Teachers engage in high quality targeted opportunity to examine theory and put it into practice in a unique multifaceted school excursion and camp venue. The outcome is improved practice in planning, running and follow up for a school camp or excursion.

6.3.2 - Contribute to collegial discussions and apply constructive feedback from colleagues to improve professional knowlwdge and practice:

The afternoon sessions will have teams working on practical exercises related to Risk Assessment in planning, running and follow up for school camps or excursions. Teachers will have ready to use documentation for the confidence in planning od school camps and excursions.

Full day $200.00 per person (minimum 10 people)

9.30am to 4.30pm

(Includes Lunch, Morning and afternoon teas)

$95.00... 1 bedroom with 2 children FOC

$130.00....2 bedrooms, with 1 adult and 2 children free of charge
