On Australia Day Let Us Transport You Back To The 1850s

Great day out for the whole family. Come and join in the fun, Pan for Gold, bring a picnic and celebrate Australia day in the 1850s Gold Rush Era.

Take one of our 4 guided tours throughout the day including the Wood Turner and Blacksmith

10.30am, 12 noon, 1.30pm and 3pm

Activities throughout the day include:

Damper Making

Guess the weight of the nugget

Gold Nugget Hunts for the kids (12 years and under)

Wanted and Period Portraits

Moruya Antique and Machinery

Eurobodalla Spinners and Weavers

Traditional Games

Create your own 1850s news headline in the Mogo Gazette

Programmes available upon arrival or at reception prior

Come dressed in Period costume for free entry.

Gates open from 9.30am, activities beginning at 10am.

Cost: $20 Adult, $18.00 Senior, $12.00 children (5 years and older), $55.00 Family (2+2)

Don't forget locals: if you live in the 2536 or 2537 postcode you get in for only $5.00 (you must provide drivers license)

The Diggers Rest Tavern will be open for light meals and Devonshire Teas.
