Local folk band Ballyhooley are playing at the 50th National Folk Festival at Easter 2016. They are doing a free concert as a taster for the National Folk Festival at the Diggers' Rest Tavern at the Original Gold Rush Colony, Mogo on 6 March, 2016 from 4:30pm -7:00pm.

The Mogo Gold Music Group had another great evening in January where lots of fun and laughter was had by both audience and performers.  We are looking forward to the  Sunday 21st February 2016 evening, 3 - 7pm,  at the Diggers Rest Tavern.  Admission is free. Drinks available from the bar, food available from the kitchen.  There is no ATM or BYO.

The Mogo Gold Music Group gets together the third Sunday of every month. Be part of the audience or bring along your instruments and join in. Performing a wide range of music from pop to country everyone is welcome. Admission is free of charge.

Robert Wombey is our resident singer and will delight you with a wide variety of Irish and Australian songs. He is a gifted entertainer and actor. Robert is a tour guide at the park. Robert has acted in all our past four melodramas.

Veteran actors Max Cullen and Warren Fahey are back in a new play DEAD MEN LAUGHING, following the hugely successful "Dead Men Talking" where they portrayed Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson. This time they appear as Australia's two most famous comics - Roy "Mo" Rene and Lennie Lower.
