Diggers Rest Tavern - Luncheon & Dinner Catering

The Diggers Rest Tavern at The Original Gold Rush Colony in Mogo on the NSW South Coast has an on premises license and is an ideal venue for wedding receptions, functions and special occasions of all types. The huge hall is very inviting and caters a maximum of 100 guests.

Breakfast, Brunch, Morning & Afternoon Tea

Depending on your group numbers and needs, arrangements can be made to cater for breakfasts, brunches, morning and afternoon teas. Menus may vary from simple devonshire teas through to buffet style offerings.

Catering For Individuals, Couples and Small Families and Groups of up to 14 People.

Each cabin has a self contained kitchenette, stocked with tea and coffee facilities, or you may chose to use the camp kitchen BBQ area.

Snacks, icecreams and soft drinks are available from reception 9am-4pm

The village of Mogo 200m down the hill has a range of  restaurants & takeaways, however they normally trade from 10am to 4pm. In addition there is a small general store for basic shopping, pantry stocking etc. Alternatively you may chose to go to the Tomakin Social Club for meals using their courtesy bus. The major centers of Batemans Bay and Moruya have a full range of supermarkets etc.

Additional Personalised Catering:

This may be arranged depending on your requirerments... ie. small group or romantic couples occassions. These arrangement are strictly subject to availability & costings in accordance with your request and our staffing availability. Just ask and we will see what we can do.

Special Events at the Gold Rush Colony

Afternoon Gigs and Special Events Open to The Public and Accommodation Guests:
From time to time the Gold Rush Colony hosts specialty musicians and serves blackboard menus from 4pm -8pm  these are well advertised and Posted in the Events Section
