Accommodation Guest Laundry

All guests at the Gold Rush Colony's South Coast Accommodation in Mogo NSW have access to the laundry free of charge. There two washing machines and two dryers. While we do have laundry powder available it is advised you bring your own.

The laundry is situated just near the cabins and behind the on site Manager's Office, so you can put on a load and relax in your bush holiday retreat.

Breakfast  & BBQ Hampers

All the cabins have self catering kitchenettes & the bunkhouses have use of the camp kitchen. For your convenience either Continental or Cook Your Own Breakfast & BBQ hampers are available for purchase. (Please advise at the time of booking so that these will be ready for you on arrival).

• Cook Your Own Breakfast Hampers - $22.00 (for 2 people)
  
  • 6 Sausages, 6 Rashers bacon, Bread for toasting and 4 eggs
• BBQ Packs - $30.00 (for 2 people)
  
  • 2 steaks, 4 Sausages, 2 lamb chops, 1 Onion, 2 tomatoes and bread

(All meat supplied is by a quality local NSW South Coast butcher).

Camp Kitchen

The Communal Camp Kitchen is a great meeting place. Seating 100
people, this area is ideal for a get together or to prepare and cook a BBQ dinner or lunch.
BBQS are free of charge. The camp kitchen is self contained and has
fridges, jugs, toasters, microwave and oven.

Housekeeping

The cabins / Bunkrooms are not serviced daily. If you require any extra service bedding or kitchen supplies please contact reception.

Office Hours/ After Hours Contact

The Gold Rush Colony reception is open 9am daily for all your enquiries / needs and closing 5pm daily in summer (closing 4pm winter months). Any after hours problems please contact the on site manager by phone on 44742123 or by coming to the residence.

Office Facilities

Whilst enjoying your stay with us at the Gold Rush Colony, reception is more than happy to help  with any of the following: Photocopying, Faxing documents, Phone calls or Internet.

Guest Car Park

There is ample FREE overnight car parking behind the cabins & bunkhouse accommodation.

Transport Services

Mogo is serviced by various transport companies and our reception staff are happy to help you make your bookings so that you can get out and about and explore the area while you are on holiday without a car.

Gold Rush Express Mini Bus : Hire is available from Reception. Conditions apply.

Rixons Door-to-Door: Bus service to or from The Original Gold Rush Colony to Moruya, Batemans Bay, Canberra or Sydney

Tomakin Social Club Courtesy Bus: Door to Door pick up and drop off for entertainment and meals.

Taxis: From Moruya or Batemans Bay

Interstate and Local Bus Services:  Priors, Premier  bus stop on the corner of Annettes St and the Princes Highway 200m from the gate of the Gold Rush Colony. (Murrays Coaches only go to Batemans Bay).

Recreational Activities for Accommodation Guests

There is so much to see and do on the 13 acre Bush property including; Volley ball, Swimming Pool, Mini Golf, Free Entry into the Gold Rush Colony Theme Park, bushwalking, bird watching and just plain relaxing in a beautiful Australian bush setting. And then of course there are all the holiday activities and natural attractions of the surrounding Eurobodalla, Batemans Bay and South Coast NSW region.
