Gold Rush Colony Accommodation Overview

A log is kept of wildlife that comes onto the  property, from echidnas to kangaroos. Nestled in the Mogo State Forest between Batemans Bay (9km) and Moruya (17km) on the south coast of NSW.

Miners Cabins, Settlers Cabins and Budget Bunkrooms suit families, the single traveller, schools and groups.

The Original Gold Rush Colony at Mogo provides a special place to stay surrounded by nature and Australian Colonial Gold Rush History, but still close enough to civilisation for you to enjoy the local beaches, walks, quality dining and golf.

Accommodation Types

The comfortable self catering Miners cabins, Settlers cabins and backpacker bunkhouses at South Coast Accommodation are located within the Original Gold Rush Colony grounds providing a great Aussie bush camp experience with comfort:

• 9 cabins and 8 bunkrooms can accommodate up to 148 guests - perfect for shcool camps & groups.
• Self Contained Cabins offer 1 or 2 bedrooms with kitchenette and separate living areas with kitchenettes.
• The Bunkrooms surround a huge 'Camp Kitchen" for meals preparation, meeting area and BBQs.
• All residential guests have access to the amenities block, basic laundry facilities, solar heated swimming pool, volleyball court and car/coach parking.

South Coast Accommodation has pet friendly accommodation available with custom designed and decorated cabins.

All accommodation is easy access and a full wheelchair and disabled access unit is available.
Our customers want to be able to relive the essence of the 1850's Gold Rush, but "Rough it in Comfort".

Accommodation Inclusions

Guests (staying in cabins) will have complimentary entry into the theme park and are able to wander through the Gold Rush Colony, take a tour, "Pan for Gold" and marvel at how our early pioneers lived without the comforts provided in our on site bush holiday cabins. (conditions apply)
